This paper explores the role of personality-centered approach to education (Helus, 2009) in the intervention in children with emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD). Selected findings of the author's qualitative research, the participants of which were educators from residential educational facilities, are also presented in the text. The author compares research findings concerning the so-called personality-holistic approach of educational professionals to these children with the personality centered approach to education defined by Helus. The research focused on their professional experience and their opinions regarding children with EBD.
