The area of employing people with health disability is a wide topic. The contribution focuses on the matter of employing people with hearing disability from the Czech sign language interpreters' point of view. The theoretical part focuses on a job interview and a new employee adaptation. From the deaf education point of view, the communication of people with hearing ability and interpreting was mentioned. The method of a structured questionnaire was selected from the empirical methods. Professional interpreters in the Czech Republic were addressed. The contribution is an output of the research and among others it offers a basic summary of problems on the part of an employee with hearing disability and on the part of the employer established by the questionnaire.
